Ingredients
- 1 lb ground bison
- 1 cup diced yellow onion
- 2 cans chili beans( don’t drain)
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can of pinto beans
- 2 tbs minced garlic
- 1 can of whole kernel corn
- 3 tbs worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 1/2 tbs chili powder
- 1 can of stewed tomatoes ( don’t drain)
- 1 small can of diced tomatoes and green chillies
- salt and pepper to taste
- ** if you like spicy- 2 jalapeños de-seeded and diced
- sauté the onion in a little olive oil then add your bison as well as the garlic salt and brown. ** Bison cooks a little faster than ground beef so watch it.
- Add the cooked mixture to your crockpot and fill with the remaining ingredients.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Top with your favorites. We like sour cream, shredded cheese, and sliced jalapeños.
