Fall is hands down my favorite season of the year. There is really nothing not to like, and you can normally find all of its goodness in one place when visiting pumpkin patches and farmers markets around town. So I have rounded up our favorites here in the STL area.
This is the closest one to our house in St. Charles, so its convenience is naturally a huge plus but its set up is perfect for younger kids. The entire place is “caged in” which means my little gremlins can run around like mad men without me having to chase them too much. The mini petting zoo is Claytons favorite part but they offer a ton of other activities.
2. Kirkwood Farmers Market & Pumpkin Patch
This year was our first time visiting this one, and we LOVED it. We ate across the street at Billy G’s then walked over for tons of fun for the boys. I was surprised how many activities they had packed in there. From giant slides to panning for rocks/gems, face painting to endless playgrounds, and even a mini trampoline area theres literally something for all your littles.
My favorite part was obviously the farmers market. So many fresh local fruits and vegetables to bring home, and the best part- they have a sample area because why not try before you buy! I highly recommend giving this one a visit.
We have not hit this one yet this year, but have been three times and it never disappoints. Lots of room for your kids to roam in their St. Louis Blues themed cornfield along with a large pirate ship to explore. Photos to come once we make it out there with the boys.
While there are a ton of patches around STL, and even the famous Eckerts, these are our favorites for our young boys right now. Leave a comment below if were missing out on somewhere special. The boys and I are always up for new adventures!
