Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice
- 8-10 oz of tequila (Patron is what I used & we did 10 oz shocker)
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of cane sugar
- 1 jalapeno ( sliced )
- sea salt, sugar, and chili lime seasoning ( for rim)
Instructions
- Put water, sugar, and sliced jalapeños in a microwave safe bowl. Cook for about two minutes or until the sugar has all dissolved. Let it cool- we put it in the freezer to help speed up the process.
- Strain out the seeds or all the jalapeño slices if you don’t like too spicy.
- In a pitcher combine your freshly squeezed orange and lime juice, tequila, and cooled simple syrup mixture.
- Combine your salt, sugar, and chili lime seasoning on a small plate, rub a lime along the rim of your glass, and coat the rim.
- Fill your glass of choice with ice, pour your margarita, garnish with jalapeños, and ENJOY!
